Philippine Bisayan Society of Nevada
Greetings to all newly elected officers, members and friends of the Philippine Bisayan Society of Nevada.
For myself and for some of the officers, this our fifth term of office; time truly flies when one is busy and having fun. I am extremely gratified and humbled to know that you have continued to place your trust and confidence in my leadership. To the officers who have served with me, I am truly grateful. I shall always treasure your support, commitment and dedication.Our organization is alive and well through the unselfish efforts of you as well as in your belief in that concept called service. I sometimes think of officers and members as the "unsung heroes" of an organization. Surely as we forge ahead, there will be challenges and barriers to overcome but together with faith in each other and in divine providence, we will prevail.
Goethe, once said that "knowing is not enough, we must apply; willing is not enough, we must do." We maintain our humanity and connection to each other through service and we do because we care.
